ARDELLA OV is a refined handmade women’s dance shoe created from exceptionally soft black glossy genuine leather, elevated with striking gunmetal metallic straps and a sophisticated open-back construction. Rather than relying on the familiar simplicity of a conventional single-band Tango sandal, ARDELLA OV introduces a more sculpted forefoot, distinctive side shaping and crossed ankle lines that give the model a noticeably more premium and contemporary character.

Handcrafted in our workshop in Türkiye, ARDELLA OV is designed for Argentine Tango, Latin, Salsa and Bachata, while its polished black and gunmetal combination also makes it an elegant choice for performances, festivals, evening events and special occasions.

SOFT BLACK GLOSSY GENUINE LEATHER & GUNMETAL DETAILS

The main body is crafted from soft black glossy genuine leather. Unlike rigid high-gloss materials, its supple structure is selected to adapt more naturally around the foot while maintaining a polished, sophisticated appearance.

The black surface is complemented by gunmetal metallic leather straps around the ankle. Their darker silver reflection changes subtly according to light and movement, creating a more understated and modern alternative to traditional bright silver.

This black and gunmetal combination gives ARDELLA OV a strong visual identity without becoming overly decorative.

DISTINCTIVE SCULPTED FRONT BAND

One of the defining characteristics of ARDELLA OV is its specially shaped front band.

Instead of using a completely straight, conventional single-band construction, the leather curves around the forefoot with a more sculpted side profile. The cut extends naturally toward the sides of the foot, helping create a more embracing sensation around the metatarsal area.

This construction gives the front of the shoe greater visual depth while allowing the soft genuine leather to follow the natural contours of the foot.

The result is a silhouette that feels more considered and distinctive than a standard single-band dance sandal.

OV | OPEN-BACK SILHOUETTE

The OV | Open Version construction leaves the heel visually exposed, creating a lighter and more elongated silhouette.

This open architecture allows the ankle straps to become an important part of the design rather than functioning only as fastening elements. The exposed heel also gives ARDELLA OV an elegant profile when viewed from the side and rear, particularly during pivots, ochos and Latin turns.

GUNMETAL CROSS-STRAP ANKLE DESIGN

ARDELLA OV features elongated gunmetal straps that cross around the ankle, creating both visual movement and a more embracing fit.

The crossed configuration distributes the fastening around the ankle rather than concentrating it into a single horizontal line. Combined with the side support extending upward from the shoe, the construction helps the shoe feel connected to the foot during directional changes and rotational movements.

The metallic gunmetal finish adds dimension whenever the straps catch the light.

PEACOCK & CARACAL CHARACTER

ARDELLA OV reflects the symbolic duality of GELTONY®.

The changing gunmetal reflections and polished black leather evoke the peacock, representing visual presence, individuality and expressive movement.

The caracal represents the other side of the design: agility, controlled balance and precision. Its character is reflected in the secure crossed ankle construction, sculpted forefoot and dance-focused geometry.

Together, these elements create a model designed to look distinctive while maintaining a controlled relationship with the dancer’s foot.

13 PONT HEEL | APPROX. 8–9 CM

The version shown in the photographs features our 13 PONT heel, approximately 8–9 cm.

This height creates an elegant leg line while maintaining the balance required for professional and social dancing. Its slim profile complements the open-back architecture and gives ARDELLA OV a particularly refined side silhouette.

Heel Options:

• 11 PONT → 7–8 CM • 13 PONT → 8–9 CM • 15 PONT → 9–10 CM

The heel height can be selected according to experience, preferred posture and intended use.

TOPUK+™ HEEL STABILIZATION SYSTEM

ARDELLA OV incorporates our TOPUK+™ heel stabilization system, developed to support a more controlled connection between the heel, arch and forefoot.

This construction contributes to balanced weight transitions during Tango walking, pivots, ochos, Salsa turns and other rotational dance movements.

COMFLOW™ | ORTHOPEDIC TOE CUSHIONING

Inside the forefoot, COMFLOW™ Orthopedic Toe Cushioning provides additional cushioning beneath one of the areas exposed to the greatest pressure when dancing in heels.

Combined with the soft genuine leather upper and sculpted front band, this system contributes to greater comfort during extended tandas, classes, rehearsals, festivals and performances.

SHINELINE™ INNER LINING

The interior is finished with SHINELINE™ premium inner lining, selected to complement the handcrafted structure of the shoe and provide comfortable contact with the foot.

For dancers who prefer a different internal texture and additional grip, SÜETLINE™ can also be selected as an optional inner-lining configuration.

SUEDE DANCE SOLE

The photographed ARDELLA OV is finished with a professional suede dance sole, designed to provide the controlled relationship between glide and grip required on suitable indoor dance floors.

It supports smooth pivots, ochos and directional transitions in Argentine Tango while also responding naturally to the rotational movements required in Salsa, Bachata and other Latin dances.

Sole Options:

• Suede Sole: Recommended for Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Latin and indoor dance floors. • Leather Sole: A traditional smooth alternative suitable for dance, stage and selected special-event use.

ARDELLA OV can be handcrafted in EU 33–42, including half sizes.

For a more accurate fit evaluation, customers may provide foot length and 360° metatarsal circumference measurements after ordering.

Every pair is individually handcrafted, allowing several elements of ARDELLA OV to be personalized.

All GELTONY® models can be produced in the color of your choice.

Depending on the selected configuration, personalization may include upper color, strap color, material combination, heel height, sole type, Regular or Wide fit, half sizes and inner-lining preferences.

The gunmetal details can therefore become part of a completely different color composition for dancers looking for an individually configured pair.

COLOR & MATERIAL NOTICE

The black genuine leather used in ARDELLA OV has a soft glossy surface, while the gunmetal straps feature a darker metallic reflection. Depending on studio lighting, daylight, viewing angle and screen settings, the gunmetal sections may appear anywhere between dark silver, graphite metallic and smoky mirror tones.

These variations are characteristic of reflective materials and contribute to the changing visual personality of the shoe during movement.
