VANDINI OV is a refined handmade women’s dance shoe created from exceptionally soft Silver Soft Sparkle genuine leather, combining a luminous silver finish with a sophisticated peep-toe front, sculpted side coverage and open-back OV construction.

Rather than following the familiar structure of a conventional open Tango sandal, VANDINI OV creates a more composed silhouette through its softly enclosed forefoot. The carefully shaped front wraps naturally around the sides of the foot while leaving a controlled peep-toe opening, creating a balance between the embracing feeling of a more covered upper and the visual lightness of an open-toe dance shoe.

Handcrafted in our workshop in Türkiye, VANDINI OV is designed for Argentine Tango, Latin, Salsa and Bachata, while its soft silver reflection also makes it an elegant choice for milongas, festivals, stage performances, weddings, bridal looks, evening events and special occasions.

SILVER SOFT SPARKLE GENUINE LEATHER

The defining material of VANDINI OV is its Silver Soft Sparkle genuine leather.

Unlike rigid metallic or highly lacquered surfaces, this leather has been selected for its exceptionally soft and flexible character. Its fine luminous finish creates a sophisticated silver glow that reacts naturally to movement and changing light without requiring heavy decorative elements.

The surface can visually shift between soft silver, champagne-silver and subtle iridescent reflections depending on the surrounding light.

The same material continues through the heel and strap architecture, creating a clean and harmonious composition from the forefoot to the heel.

SCULPTED PEEP-TOE FRONT

One of the defining characteristics of VANDINI OV is its softly sculpted peep-toe construction.

Instead of exposing the forefoot through multiple thin straps, the upper forms a wider and more flowing structure around the metatarsal area. Its curved side coverage visually embraces the forefoot while the carefully proportioned opening leaves the toes partially visible.

This construction gives VANDINI OV a more sophisticated and dressed silhouette than a conventional strappy Tango sandal while preserving the light character expected from an open-toe dance shoe.

The exceptionally soft genuine leather also allows the upper to adapt more naturally around different forefoot structures.

OV | OPEN-BACK SILHOUETTE

The OV | Open Version construction leaves the rear of the heel exposed, creating a lighter and more elongated profile.

The open-back architecture is paired with slender crossing straps that connect the rear, side and ankle areas without introducing a heavy heel enclosure.

This creates an elegant contrast between the more embracing peep-toe front and the visually lighter rear construction.

During Tango walking, ochos, pivots, giros and Latin turns, the open-back silhouette also allows the silver straps and heel line to become a visible part of the movement.

CROSSING STRAP ARCHITECTURE

VANDINI OV features a refined crossing strap configuration rather than a basic horizontal ankle fastening.

The slender straps create diagonal lines around the foot and ankle, visually connecting the sculpted forefoot with the open-back construction.

Their positioning contributes to a more embracing relationship between the shoe and foot during directional changes and rotational movements while giving the model a distinctive side profile.

Because the straps are produced from matching Silver Soft Sparkle genuine leather, each line catches and reflects light from a different angle.

PEACOCK & CARACAL CHARACTER

VANDINI OV reflects the symbolic duality of GELTONY.

The luminous and changing silver reflections evoke the peacock, representing visual presence, individuality and expressive movement. As the dancer moves, different sections of the Silver Soft Sparkle leather become illuminated, allowing the shoe to reveal a subtly changing character.

The caracal represents agility, balance and controlled precision. This character is reflected in the sculpted forefoot, crossing strap architecture and dance-focused geometry of the model.

Together, the peacock and caracal represent the balance between expressive appearance and controlled movement at the heart of GELTONY design.

13 PONT HEEL | APPROX. 8–9 CM

The VANDINI OV shown in the photographs features our 13 PONT heel, approximately 8–9 cm.

The heel is covered in matching Silver Soft Sparkle genuine leather, allowing the luminous character of the upper to continue through the complete silhouette.

Its slim profile creates an elongated leg line while maintaining proportions suitable for professional and social Tango and Latin dancing.

Heel Options:

• 11 PONT → 7–8 CM

• 15 PONT → 9–10 CM

Heel height can be selected according to dance experience, preferred posture, balance point and intended use.

TOPUK+™ HEEL STABILIZATION SYSTEM

VANDINI OV incorporates the TOPUK+™ Heel Stabilization System, developed to support a more controlled relationship between the heel, arch and forefoot.

The system contributes to controlled weight transitions and stability during Tango walking, pivots, ochos, giros, Salsa turns and other rotational dance movements.

This becomes particularly important when dancing in higher heel configurations, where the relationship between heel placement and forefoot pressure directly influences the dancer’s balance.

COMFLOW™ | ORTHOPEDIC TOE CUSHIONING

Inside the forefoot, COMFLOW™ Orthopedic Toe Cushioning provides additional cushioning beneath one of the areas exposed to the greatest pressure when dancing in heels.

Combined with the exceptionally soft genuine leather upper and sculpted peep-toe construction, COMFLOW™ contributes to greater comfort during extended tandas, classes, rehearsals, festivals and performances.

SHINELINE™ INNER LINING

The interior is finished with SHINELINE™ premium inner lining, selected to complement the handcrafted construction and provide comfortable contact with the foot.

For dancers who prefer a different internal texture and a suede-like contact surface, SÜETLINE™ is also available as an optional inner-lining configuration.

APERTA™ TOE OPENING OPTION

For customers who prefer a slightly more open appearance at the front, VANDINI OV can also be evaluated with the APERTA™ configuration.

This option allows the peep-toe area to be adapted toward a more open four-toe appearance while preserving the characteristic sculpted upper and overall identity of VANDINI OV.

Because every pair is individually handcrafted, the final configuration can be considered according to foot structure and the customer’s preferred degree of openness.

SUEDE DANCE SOLE

The VANDINI OV shown in the photographs is finished with a professional suede dance sole.

Suede provides the controlled relationship between glide and grip required on suitable indoor dance floors. It supports smooth pivots, ochos, giros and directional transitions in Argentine Tango while responding naturally to rotational movements in Salsa, Bachata and other Latin dances.

Sole Options:

• Suede Sole: Recommended for Argentine Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Latin and suitable indoor dance floors.
• Leather Sole: A traditional smooth option suitable for Tango, stage, performance and selected special-event use.
• Neolite Sole: A durable alternative suitable for customers seeking a firmer and more practical surface for mixed, everyday or dance-outside environments.

SIZE & FIT OPTIONS

VANDINI OV can be individually handcrafted in EU 33–42, including half sizes.

For a more accurate fit evaluation, customers may provide foot length and 360° metatarsal circumference measurements for both feet.

A reference measurement from the inside of a currently comfortable high-heeled shoe may also be provided when required.

This measurement-based approach allows our workshop to evaluate not only nominal shoe size but also the individual proportions of the foot.

Every pair of VANDINI OV is individually handcrafted, allowing the model to be configured beyond the version shown in the photographs.

All GELTONY models can be produced in the color of your choice.

Depending on the selected configuration, personalization may include upper color, leather selection, strap color, heel covering, heel height, sole type, Regular or Wide fit, half sizes, inner-lining preferences and selected fit adjustments.

The Silver Soft Sparkle version therefore represents one interpretation of VANDINI OV rather than limiting the model to a single color combination.

COLOR & MATERIAL NOTICE

The Silver Soft Sparkle genuine leather used in VANDINI OV contains a fine reflective surface that responds differently to daylight, studio lighting, stage lighting and viewing angle.

Depending on the environment, the leather may appear soft silver, warm champagne-silver, platinum or subtly iridescent. Fine multicolored reflections may become visible at certain angles as light moves across the surface.

These variations are characteristic of the reflective material and contribute to the changing visual personality of the shoe during movement. As genuine leather and handcrafted materials may present natural variations, subtle differences in surface character, texture and reflection can occur between individual pairs and production batches.
