TURQUOISE SOFT GENUINE SUEDE LEATHER

The upper is crafted from exceptionally soft turquoise genuine suede leather, selected for its supple character, tactile surface and ability to adapt naturally around the foot.

Unlike rigid or heavily structured materials, genuine suede has a naturally flexible character that follows the contours of the foot while maintaining the clean silhouette required from a professional men’s Tango shoe.

The turquoise surface has a rich velvety texture that responds beautifully to light and movement. As the direction of the suede fibers changes, different areas may appear lighter, deeper or more intense, giving SANTINO a naturally dimensional appearance rather than a flat uniform color.

CLASSIC LACE-UP CONSTRUCTION

SANTINO features a clean lace-up configuration designed to provide adjustable support across the instep.

The laces allow the upper to be regulated according to the dancer’s foot structure, helping create a more connected fit during Tango walking, pivots and directional changes.

PROFESSIONAL MEN’S TANGO SILHOUETTE

SANTINO has been shaped specifically around the movement requirements of men’s Argentine Tango.

Its elongated front profile maintains a refined masculine appearance without becoming excessively pointed, while the low heel and close-to-the-floor construction support natural weight transfer and controlled movement.

The softly structured heel section and clean side profile help maintain a secure relationship between the foot and shoe during Tango walking sequences, ochos, giros, pivots and changes of direction.

STANDARD 2 CM MEN’S TANGO HEEL

SANTINO is produced with our standard men’s Tango heel of approximately 2 CM.

This low and balanced heel configuration supports a natural standing position while maintaining the subtle elevation traditionally associated with men’s Argentine Tango footwear.

The 2 CM heel helps distribute weight between the heel and forefoot, supporting controlled transitions and stable Tango walking while reducing the excessively elevated sensation associated with conventional formal heels.

Its discreet construction also preserves SANTINO’s clean, uninterrupted side silhouette.

BALANCECORE™ STABILITY SYSTEM

SANTINO incorporates the BALANCECORE™ Stability System, developed specifically around the movement requirements of GELTONY men’s Tango footwear.

The system supports controlled weight transfer between the heel, arch and forefoot while helping maintain stability during pivots, walking sequences and directional changes.

Rather than making the shoe unnecessarily rigid, BALANCECORE™ works together with the flexible suede construction to preserve the natural movement required by Argentine Tango.

ABRAZO™ HIDDEN LIFT STRUCTURE

The ABRAZO™ Hidden Lift Structure is integrated into the internal geometry of SANTINO to support posture, balance and connection during Argentine Tango.

Its purpose is to create a subtle internal relationship between the dancer, shoe and floor without disrupting the classic external appearance of the model.

The SANTINO shown in the photographs features a professional suede dance sole.

This creates a particularly cohesive construction, combining the soft genuine suede upper with a dance-focused suede outsole developed for controlled movement on suitable indoor floors.

The suede sole provides a carefully balanced relationship between grip and glide, supporting fluid pivots without completely disconnecting the dancer from the floor.

It is particularly suitable for Argentine Tango, Tango Vals, Milonga, classes, practice sessions and professional indoor dance environments.

SANTINO can be configured according to the dancer’s intended use:

SANTINO carries the symbolic character of GELTONY through the peacock and caracal.

COLOR & MATERIAL NOTICE

The genuine suede leather used in SANTINO features a rich turquoise surface with a naturally velvety texture. Because suede fibers respond to touch, brushing direction, daylight and studio lighting, the color may appear between turquoise blue, deeper ocean blue and lighter blue-green tones depending on viewing conditions.

Different sections of the shoe may also appear slightly lighter or darker as the direction of the suede fibers changes. These tonal variations are a natural characteristic of genuine suede leather and contribute to the individual appearance of each handmade pair.
