CORVELLA CV is the closed-back interpretation of one of GELTONY’s refined open-toe silhouettes, created for dancers who want the elegant character of a strappy tango sandal combined with the additional support and secure feeling of a fully enclosed heel.

Handcrafted in Türkiye from glossy black patent genuine leather, CORVELLA CV creates a striking monochrome appearance where the beauty comes from its silhouette, reflections and carefully arranged straps rather than excessive ornamentation. The deep black patent surface catches the light during every step, giving the shoe a sophisticated presence on the dance floor while remaining timeless enough for evening wear and special occasions.

The front of the model is formed with multiple slender leather straps that cross and flow around the foot. This construction keeps the toes visually open while creating a more structured embrace around the forefoot. The combination is especially suitable for dancers who appreciate a delicate-looking shoe but still want a confident connection between the foot and the upper.

At the back, the CV | Closed Version construction completely changes the character of the original CORVELLA. The enclosed heel cup supports the rear of the foot and works together with the ankle straps to create a more connected fit during pivots, ochos, turns and rapid directional transitions.

The model shown is finished entirely in black glossy patent genuine leather, including the heel covering, creating an uninterrupted black silhouette from the ankle to the floor.

Its character also reflects the two symbols behind GELTONY. HEEL OPTIONS

The CORVELLA CV shown in the photographs is produced with our 13 PONT heel, approximately 8–9 cm, giving the model its characteristic elevated tango posture while maintaining a balanced relationship between the heel and forefoot.

CORVELLA CV incorporates TOPUK+™, developed to improve the relationship between the heel, arch and forefoot during movement.

The system supports more controlled weight distribution and helps create a stable foundation for pivots, walking sequences, ochos and extended periods of dancing.

COMFLOW™ | ORTHOPEDIC TOE CUSHIONING

The forefoot incorporates COMFLOW™ Orthopedic Toe Cushioning, designed to provide additional cushioning beneath one of the areas exposed to the greatest pressure in high-heeled dance shoes.

This becomes particularly valuable during long tango classes, milongas, festivals, rehearsals and performances where the dancer remains on the forefoot for extended periods.

SHINELINE™ PREMIUM INNER LINING

SHINELINE™ is included as the standard inner lining configuration.

SOLE OPTIONS

The CORVELLA CV shown in the photographs features a premium black suede dance sole.

Suede Sole
Recommended primarily for Argentine Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Latin and other indoor dance disciplines. Its surface provides the controlled relationship between glide and grip required for pivots and directional changes.

Leather Sole
A traditional alternative offering a smooth underfoot character suitable for dance, stage performances, weddings, evening events and selected everyday surfaces.

Neolite Sole
A more durable alternative for customers who want to extend CORVELLA CV beyond the traditional dance floor and use the model for selected everyday, event and outdoor environments.

CLOSED-BACK CV CONSTRUCTION

The defining feature of this version is its closed heel structure.

Compared with an open-back tango sandal, the CV construction surrounds the heel more completely and creates a stronger feeling of connection between the foot and shoe.

The enclosed heel cup works together with the ankle fastening system, making CORVELLA CV particularly attractive to dancers who prefer additional rear-foot support without moving toward a visually heavy closed shoe.

MULTI-STRAP FRONT DESIGN

Instead of using one broad front panel, CORVELLA CV uses several carefully positioned patent leather straps.

The overlapping arrangement follows the natural shape of the forefoot and gives the design its distinctive architectural appearance.

The open spaces between the straps allow the black patent leather to remain visually light despite its intense glossy finish.

APERTA™ OPTIONAL FRONT CONFIGURATION

Where foot structure and production specifications permit, CORVELLA CV can also be produced with our APERTA™ configuration.

Because tango shoes interact closely with the foot, customers can provide their foot length and 360° metatarsal circumference measurements after ordering.

These measurements allow our workshop to evaluate the foot more accurately rather than relying exclusively on a conventional numerical shoe size.

HANDMADE IN TÜRKİYE

CORVELLA CV is handmade in our workshop in Türkiye rather than produced through conventional mass-production methods.

The genuine leather upper, individual straps, closed heel structure, lining, heel covering and sole are assembled with attention to the balance required from a dedicated dance shoe.

Standard made-to-order production time is approximately 3–7 business days, depending on workshop intensity and selected personalization.

Every pair is supplied with a GELTONY protective shoe bag.

The bag makes it easier to protect and carry the shoes between tango classes, milongas, festivals, Salsa and Bachata nights, rehearsals, competitions, stage performances, weddings and special events.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

The glossy patent genuine leather should be cleaned gently with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.

Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive brushes and prolonged exposure to excessive moisture or direct heat.

For suede soles, a dedicated suede sole brush can be used periodically to refresh the fibers and maintain the desired dance-floor response.
