Amo Tango

From one tango lover to another! When I went to my first milonga, wearing jeans and dance sneakers, I felt a bit out of place… At the same time, as a beginner, I spent most of it admiring other tangueras: they had amazing tango shoes (I immediately decided my tango sneakers would no longer accompany me to a second milonga) and wore tango clothes that really complemented their moves. From then on, whenever I saw an item in a store that resembled me of a tango move, I could not resist to buy it. Unfortunately (or not! ;), sometime after, that was no longer enough for me so, as soon as I started to sew, my very first pieces were tango ones. Inspiration My most important inspirations are fabrics, all music that one can dance tango to and by women’s movements on the dance floor. The team I’m a one-woman show: I design my own patterns and choose the fabrics I use based on their quality, movement and beauty - some of my favorites are silk, chiffon, satin and velvet. I also hand sew all of the pieces. Hope you like it I hope some of my pieces match your tanguera style and most importantly you feel amazed by them when you receive them.
